Tram Car Project

Data Factory was commissioned to re-design an inverter installed on the historic Tram Car Restaurant in 1986. It was designed and installed to convert 600VDC overhead voltage into 3 phase 415/240VAC to power up the tram kitchen appliances. We modified the design and re-built the inverter. It contributed greatly to commercial success of the Tram Restaurant Co. Data Factory then proceeded to design and build three more tram inverters for Trams 937, 938 and 939. The last one was built in 2007.
