ORORA Washer Project

We were commissioned by ORORA to upgrade control system of a Washer machine-which cleans aluminium cans. It is an integral part of the aluminium beverage can production line in the ORORA Plant in Dandenong Victoria.The original control system was designed in the 1970s. It was built around DOL starters operating pumps and fans on the Washer machine. The objective was to replace the old system with a modern one with Variable Speed Drives (VFDs) reducing the machine power consumption. Data Factory pre-built the new gear plate and installed and commissioned the new system within just 3 weeks when the plant was undergoing its annual shut down.
